I bought a Juggernaut Classic Duo after as my first eBike after a fairly comprehensive review of the market. I chose the bike based on the reputation of the brand for providing excellent customer support and my assessment that its bikes provide higher end components and superior performance features for the best value, especially for mid drive eBikes. As I planned to ride mostly in a mountainous area of Arizona, my research indicated that a mid drive was my best option. I couldn’t be more pleased with my choice! The bike is a quality piece of kit. It has easily accommodated 1600’ elevation changes over my favorite 25 mile loop using only 50% of the battery while leaving my 71 year old legs ready for another 50 miles. As a long time motorcyclist, the bike’s handling, stopping power and surprising quickness evoke the same feelings that made me fall in love with motorcycle riding. Well done Biktrix!
I wish Biktrix post weights with the battery, which is over 10 lb. The bike is good quality, but unfortunately if you don't have a garage or bike storage, it's not worth it. Taking it up 5 stairs is a nightmare.
From the get go, it was a pleasure dealing with biktrix. I reached out to their customer service team to clarify a couple of things prior to making my purchase. They were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I placed my order online and in just over a week, I had the Juggernaut Classic Duo Electric Blue step-over in my living room. Assembly was a breeze (I have years of experience tooling on road bikes and mountain bikes) so it went together with no complications. For those that may be a little overwhelmed, Biktrix has really useful guides and manuals available online + videos to help simplify the process. The fit and finish of the bike is top notch. It is very well designed, however a little on the heavy side but to be expected with such a beast. I have not had much saddle time as of yet, but from what I have experienced the component package shifts smoothly, the brakes are well suited to this bike and the motor has plenty of power to spare. The Bafang DPC-18 display is very user friendly and provided all kinds of data right at your fingertip. I did upgrade the seat post to a short travel Thudbuster from their store and added the accessory mount which is a real necessity if you want to add a water bottle holder and cell phone mount. Overall, it is a large investment but well worth every penny I spent. I look forward to many years of outdoor adventure on my new ride and at the same time feel great about supporting a Canadian company. I did spend a significant amount of time researching other products/manufactures out there but kept coming back to Biktrix. So glad I did! What are you waiting for? Order yours today. You will not be disappointed.
I bought the Juggernaut classic duo this winter but I didn't really use it because of the snow and ice. I tested it last week in all terrain, trails, woods, etc...
I am really impressed with this machine, its power on all terrains with different levels of assistance and even with the throttle.
I did a lot of research on websites, reviews and blogs before deciding. and after a lot of comparisons, i chose the Biktrix juggernaut classic duo. i'm very happy with my purchase! i haven't discovered all these possibilities yet, it's my first electric bike, i'm not very young anymore, but my goal is to ride off-road. this is only the beginning!
I currently have 6 Ebikes: Rad Rovers from Rad Power Bikes and All Terrain from M2S Bikes. Both brands are hub drive. I'm in the process of changing over to mid drive because of rear flats being easier to manage and more torque from a 750W Bafang motor (120 NM compared to 80)
I have 400 miles on the Juggernaut. After a few issues with the original DPN cassette bending easily, front Kenda tire defective and brakes hard to break in (noise when braking hard for long dissents). Biktrix did send replacement parts to fix the issues except the brakes and rotors. I replaced the rotors with Galfer Wave (2.00mm rotor thickness) and better brake pads. I also removed the fenders, rear rack and lights. Replaced lights with battery powered Fenix BC30R 1600 Lumen front and 200 lumen rear light. Everything is working perfect.
My only complaint is the bike is too heavy and would prefer a Torque Sensor over the Cadence Sensor it comes with.
