Honest answers for beginners
Am I too old to start riding an eBike?
If you can ride a regular bike — even a little — you can ride an eBike, and the motor makes it easier, not harder. These models are chosen specifically for riders 45+: step-through frames, upright seating and gentle, smooth power. Many of our happiest owners hadn't ridden in years.
There are four — which one do I actually buy?
Pick by where you'll ride and how you'll store it. Easy around-town comfort → Stunner LT Lite. Steady and off-pavement → Juggernaut Classic Lite. The most comfortable do-it-all cruiser (owner favourite) → Stunner LT 8. Needs to fold up small → Kutty X 3. Still stuck? Call 1-866-BIKTRIX.
Is $1,867 a lot to spend on a bike?
It's a real investment — but it's a quality eBike from a Canadian-owned company, with a torque sensor, hydraulic brakes and a support team behind it, not a disposable big-box bike. Many riders replace short car trips and gym memberships with it. And our 30-day return means you can make sure it's right before you commit.
What if I get it and I can't get on it?
Our step-through and folding frames are designed to be easy to mount. But if it doesn't feel right for your body, you're protected by our 30-day return — try it on your own streets with zero pressure.
Do I have to assemble it myself?
It arrives roughly 90% assembled. A few straightforward steps — like attaching the handlebar, pedals and seat — and you're ready to ride. We include instructions, and phone support is a call away if you get stuck.
What kind of range do these really get?
Real-world range depends on your weight, terrain, wind and how much you pedal. As a guide: the Stunner LT 8 goes up to about 40–80 km, and the Kutty X 3 up to about 70 km. For most around-town riders, that's several days of riding between charges.
When does the Canada Day sale end?
