Especially when eBikes are a long term commitment, it is our mission to ensure that every ride is an enjoyable one.

Your riding position plays an important role in whether or not you're hunching over. That's why we design our frames with a super upright comfortable position in mind.

Being the pioneers of High-Perfomance electric bicycles in Canada, we have a track record of building bikes capable of 200 nM of torque and known for long range eBikes with our dual battery system.

When designing our bikes, we aim to resolve practical rider problems. More range, more safety, more carrying capacity, more reliability. That's why we equip our bikes with fenders to prevent mud, racks so you can carry your stuff, and oftentimes, adjustable stems so you can tailor the bike to your needs.

Pioneering the World’s First Production Dual-Drive eBike System

Biktrix Labs engineered the world’s first production-ready dual-drive eBike system—a breakthrough that blends engineering innovation with real-world necessity.

Traditional eBikes rely on a single chain and a single drive mechanism.

But for outdoor riders, mountain bikers, hunters, and backcountry explorers, this creates a single point of failure.

If that chain breaks, the adventure ends and you’re stranded.

CASE STUDY #2 - ARMAGEDDON LIGHTS

The most powerful, fully integrated eBike-specific headlight system in North America.

The Armageddon Light System was built to deliver real visibility—not the weak, narrow “bike-light” glow riders are used to. It eliminates the hassle of separate battery packs by drawing power directly from the eBike’s main battery for a fully integrated lighting experience.

The global eBike lighting market is driven by European motor standards, which cap eBikes at 250W and typically use 36V battery systems.

Because those bikes have smaller batteries, European brands avoid high-powered integrated headlights which limit motor performance.

This created several problems:

  • 36V systems can’t drive powerful lights without draining performance.
  • Vendors avoid development because of limited North American Market.
  • Riders are forced into weak, USB-charged handlebar lights

As a result, we made it our mission to solve this and bring to market, the premier eBike light system, built for North Americans.

CASE STUDY #3 - BATTERY LAB

Dual Battery Technology: Solving Range Anxiety for Good

Range anxiety is one of the biggest pain points to eBikes. No one wants to stuck with a heavy bike in the middle of nowhere.


Biktrix Labs engineered a solution: high-capacity dual battery architecture that doubles range capabilities.

At Biktrix, we're known for being the long range eBike. To accomplish this, we developed Dual Battery capabilities to enable rides of up to 245 km. But it doesn't just stop there with range, our Range Extender platform allows for the following benefits:

  • Draws power evenly across both batteries - helps reduce strain and heat on a cellular level leading to extended overall lifespan and reliability.
  • Up to 2× the usable range - commute farther, adventure longer. This enables range up to 245km, which is why we are known as the long range eBike.
  • Cold-weather resilience, since dual packs help prevent voltage sag. Being based in Saskatoon where the temperature will often dip below -30C, this is important for us!
  • Perfect for towing, hills, and cargo loads - The increased performance of dual batteries helps sustain extended rides and cargo loads.

PROJECT: Comfort

We believe that comfort is probably the most important thing that goes into a great eBike. Specifically, we've determined that the frame geometry plays a big role into it, but there are other supporting pieces as well. Here's our winning formula:

We've determined that having the correct frame design is the basis of every comfortable eBike. With traditional bikes, you need to maximize each pedal stroke. eBikes on the otherhand, don't need to maximize efficiency because you have a powerful motor helping you out! We design our bikes with longer head tubes, and empower the rider to sit higher and with an upright, comfortable position. No more hunching over!
