Retail Operations Coordinator - Saskatoon SK
This is not a filing-and-phones admin job. You'll be the operational hub between head office and six showrooms — the person who makes sure meetings turn into action, showroom problems get solved fast, and nothing falls through the cracks.
You'll report to our Retail Operations Manager and work directly with the CEO day to day. If you love variety — one hour you're driving follow-ups from a leadership meeting, the next you're coordinating a forklift move between showrooms — this role was built for you.
What you'll do
- Own the internal meeting rhythm across showroom teams, showroom managers, the Retail Operations Manager, and the CEO: agendas, notes, action items, and follow-through until things are actually done
- Be the first call for showroom managers' daily issues — solve what you can, route and escalate what you can't
- Track customer escalations and drive them to resolution
- Keep communication flowing smoothly between the operations team and the retail teams
- Coordinate logistics between locations: equipment moves, racking and fixture installs, store setup projects
- Handle business license renewals and recurring compliance admin across our provinces
- Do the ground-level legwork on new locations — gather site details, local requirements, and the information leadership needs to decide
Who you are
- 3+ years in operations coordination, retail administration, executive assistance, or similar
- Relentless follow-through — you close loops without being reminded
- Organized and systems-minded: comfortable in Slack and spreadsheets, and quick to learn our tools (Lightspeed POS, Odoo ERP)
- A clear, confident communicator with everyone from shop technicians to the CEO
- Calm juggling multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities
- Bonus: retail, logistics, or multi-location experience; a genuine interest in bikes or e-bikes
What we offer
- $45,000–$70,000 depending on experience + performance bonus
- Direct exposure to the CEO and senior leadership of a growing national brand
- A genuine growth path into retail operations management as we scale
- Benefits — health plan, staff bike pricing, etc.
E-Bike Mechanic - Calgary AB
This is a build-focused role for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to put their hands on bikes every day. You'll be assembling new e-bikes, executing custom builds to spec, performing quality control, and diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical issues. You'll work closely with our operations, product, and sales teams to make sure every bike that leaves our shop meets the Biktrix standard.
What you'll do
- Assemble new e-bikes from frame-up, including motor, battery, controller, and display integration
- Execute custom builds based on customer specifications (drivetrain swaps, wheel builds, component upgrades, powder-coated frames)
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues across a range of mid-drive and hub-drive systems
- Perform final QC inspections and test rides before bikes ship or are delivered to customers
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and accurate service records
- Support warranty diagnostics and contribute to product feedback loops with the engineering team
- Mentor junior staff and seasonal hires as the team grows
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working specifically on e-bikes (mid-drive and hub-drive systems)
- Strong mechanical fundamentals: hydraulic brakes, drivetrains, wheel building/truing, suspension, headsets, bottom brackets
- Familiarity with major e-bike component brands (Bafang, Shimano, SRAM, Tektro, Magura, etc.)
- Ability to read and follow technical documentation and build sheets
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to doing the job right the first time
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Nice to have
- Formal training or certification (BBI, UBI, Park Tool School, Red Seal, or equivalent)
- Experience with wheel building from scratch
- Familiarity with Bafang programming and firmware tools
- Previous custom or bespoke build experience
What we offer
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Full-time, permanent position with stable year-round work
- Modern, well-equipped shop in Saskatoon
- Opportunity to work on custom and bespoke builds, not just repetitive assembly
- Employee bike program and industry discounts
- Growth opportunities as we expand across Canada
Store Manager – Victoria BC
About Biktrix
We build premium electric bikes, assembled in Canada, and sell them through our own showrooms across Western Canada and online. Most of our riders are active adults 50+, and many are buying their first e-bike. Our rule is simple: no bike snobs. Everyone who walks in gets welcomed, listened to, and fitted properly, whether they're ready to buy today or just curious.
The role
This is not a "run the register and call head office" job. You will run the Victoria store as if you own it: the team, the customers, the inventory, the service side, and the numbers. You report directly to the CEO, with no layers in between, on sales, inventory, and customer support. You get real authority to make decisions and real accountability for results.
You don't need to come from the bike industry. We'll teach you the bikes. You do need to know how to run a store, lead a team, and sell.
What you'll own
- Sales: hit monthly store targets. Run test rides, consult and fit riders (many new to e-bikes), close deals, quote custom builds, and follow up on every lead until it's won or closed.
- Customers: the whole experience, from first visit through years of service. Resolve issues on the spot, coordinate warranty and returns with HQ, and keep our reviews excellent.
- Team: hire, train, schedule, and coach the sales and service staff. Set the tone on the floor.
- Inventory: receive shipments, run cycle counts, keep stock accurate in our system, manage the demo fleet and parts/accessories, and flag reorders early so you never run dry in peak season.
- Service: keep bookings, turnaround, and quality of work tight, and keep customers informed along the way.
- Store operations: open/close, POS and cash handling, merchandising, local events and group rides, and margin discipline. You protect margin like it's your own money.
- Reporting: a weekly scorecard to the CEO covering sales, inventory, support issues, and what you need.
Who you are
- 2+ years leading a retail store or team: hiring, coaching, scheduling, and handling the hard conversations.
- A closer who doesn't push. You sell by matching the right product to the right person, and you're patient and warm with older and first-time customers.
- Owner mindset. You notice what's broken and fix it without being asked.
- Organized with systems: POS, inventory software, spreadsheets. Lightspeed experience preferred; we'll train you on Odoo.
- Comfortable lifting and moving e-bikes (they're heavy, up to ~35 kg).
- Available weekends. You set the store schedule within our opening hours.
- Legally able to work in Canada.
Nice to have
- Bike or e-bike technical and sales knowledge (basic mechanics, motors, batteries, fitting riders)
- Experience owning a store P&L or running your own shop
- Connections in Victoria's cycling community
Pay and perks
- $55,000–$65,000 base salary, depending on experience. Eligible for performance bonus and additional perks post probation period.
- Sales commission plus a store performance bonus on top (structure discussed at interview)
- Staff pricing on bikes, parts, and accessories
- Extended health benefits
- A direct line to the CEO at a company that's growing across Canada
How to apply
Apply with your resume and a short note, a few lines is plenty, answering one question: tell us about a time you ran something as if it were yours. What did you change, and what happened?
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If you need accommodation during the hiring process, let us know.
Required: Must have legal work status in Canada.
