The basics

Here's a quick breakdown of the specs on the Monte:

  • 48V 17.5Ah battery
  • Tektro Dorado E725 quad-piston hydraulic brakes, 203mm rotors
  • Bafang DPC-18 Display
  • Bafang Ultra mid-drive motor
  • SRAM NX 11-speed drivetrain
  • Rockshox Deluxe rear-suspension
  • Carbon fiber frame
What's special about a carbon fibre frame?

Carbon fibre is a composite material that is five times stronger than steel and twice is stiff. All while being much, much lighter.

Above is a picture of our aluminum frame full-suspension eBike, the Juggernaut Ultra FS Pro. This bike weighs 73lbs compared to the Monte Capro's slender 55lbs. This is roughly a 25% decrease in weight! You'll notice the difference in power-weight ratio, agility on trails, battery efficiency, and ease of moving the bike around.

Add in the modern suspension design and the Monte is ready to tear up the trails and backroads. Don't just take our word for it, check out how the bike holds up to some hardcore riding:

What motor does the Monte Capro Ultra use?

The Monte Capro Ultra uses the Bafang Ultra M620 mid-drive motor - one of our favourite motors we offer. With 160nm of torque and 1500W of peak power, it gives the Monte the power to zip up almost any hill. Combined with a torque-sensor to deliver pedal-assist, power delivery is as smooth as can be.

What options does the Monte have?

Other than the choice of five beautiful colours, there is a choice of Fat and Boost wheelset options. The Fat configuration comes with Maxxis Minion 26" x 4.8" fat tires and an RST Renegade air suspension fork. The Boost spec opts for 27.5" x 2.8" Maxxis Rekon MTB tires with the Rockshox 35 air fork. Boost refers to the hub spacing, 110mm front and 148mm rear. The Fat variant features 150mm front and 197mm rear; so, while wheelsets aren't interchangeable between models there are two great options to suit your riding style.
