Juggernaut review

Overall, I was pleased with the purchase, and I am enjoying the bike. My feedback / concerns are- no owner's manual came with the bike, the display module is not what I expected, wobble in front wheel, generic YouTube searches required (minus owner's manual) to answer questions and trouble shoot. Detail: If you buy a cheap power tool you get a owner's manual. This $3,600 bike came with nothing. Thus, no instruction on battery use (e.g. use of power button on reserve battery) I did find on Biktrix youtube vid about the batteries -but no mention of when to use the power button when fully charged and installed on the bike; also, no trouble shooting guide for subjects such as wheel wobble and etc.; no parts list / schematic. The display module is nothing like what I saw on the ordering web page and was expecting. In addition, the supplied module installed from Biktrix was installed upside down -why because it doesn't fit the handle bar design. To make use, I have it wedged on the bar and hope that it stays put while riding. In short, it has taken some time to sort out issues. Not a big deal, but not what I expected.

Excellent e-bike

We ordered an E bike from Biktrix after a visit to the Vancouver Biktrix store. Dillon answered all our questions about e bikes and after test riding the juggernaut hub duo we decided to order one. Two weeks later after having so much fun and seeing the quality of the bike we decided to order a second juggernaut hub duo so we can ride together. We are really enjoying our bikes and have yet to have any issues after a few weeks of riding. My husband and I would recommend anyone buying an electric bike to strongly consider a Biktrix E bike. Thanks to Dillon and Biktrix

this bike has exceeded all my expectations

ok, I'm neither young nor svelte. despite pulling off a 300km walk this year I decided to say farewell to my cool kid N^%#O city bike as I'm moved out to a rural area with lots of trails ranging from grassy game trails to crushed rock to pit run gravel roads and paved walkways close to my house. --I wanted a bike that would give me some exercise and allow me to do some off road exploring. I've had the hub duo stepover for about 6 weeks now and I remain quite astounded. it's heavy for sure and you need some adjustment time with the weight-- but once you get used to it it is remarkable. I'm regularly doing a 25-30 km route of bush, road, small hills and one BIG hill out of the river valley. each time I'm using maybe 25% of the charge--maybe. it's capable of faster than I want to go and I've responded by upgrading my helmet. I'd not hesitate for a moment at a 75km ride. I test drove a bunch and value wise the juggernaut just stands way out. --probably $1K less than comparable bikes I looked at . I've had no quality concerns whatsoever. This bike is just a mess of fun too. Occasionally accellerating uphill using the throttle is a hoot

great bike

I have about 160 miles on the bike after a few weeks, all dirt roads, and the bike is everything I need.I like the torque sensor a lot, 27.5 x 3 tires are perfect for me, wish the display screen was a bit larger but good enough, and will eventually put on a twist throttle that I had on a previous, non Bixtrix bike. All in all great bike. I thoroughly studied all bikes in this price range and and happy I got this one!

Awesome Bike

We have had our bikes for a few weeks now!! Great addition!! The assist allows my wife and I to ride together at the same speed for long distances. The fat tires handle grass and gravel well for when I have to go off road to check fence and cattle. The front rack is great!! Lots of power for climbing the big hills, even on grass!!! One design flaw, the front light mount hits the bottom of the basket due to the shock travel. If you don't remount it and relocate it, you will break the front light mount like I did!! Biketrix may want to move the front light mount or issue a warning if you are adding a front basket.
